February. How did so much happen in so little time?

BYT + Stylisted

I started things off this month with a photoshoot for Brightest Young Things and Stylisted; a makeover documentary with Aly Lubov and Lisa Anderson. Check out the full post on BYT to see the gorgeous end results!

Ibata + NGA

I'm working on the first of a series of interviews with local creatives by whom I'm inspired. My interview with local artist David Ibata will be published here and on DCFocused sometime next month. I stopped by the NGA to photograph David painting and talking with several crowds of school children who were on field trips.

Typecase Industries

Typecase Industries is a full-service design and letterpress print shop in Washington, D.C. Founded in 2012 by three close friends with a passion for print. They produce high-quality paper goods with a wicked sense of humor. I got to photograph their new, ridiculously gorgeous space in the (also new, also ridiculously gorgeous) Atlantic Plumbing Building and am happy to say they designed and printed my snazzy new business cards

Compass Social Media Week

Real estate startup, Compass, had me document their Social Media Week which featured, among other things, a great Instagram workshop by Morgan Hungerford West, of A Creative DC.

DCeatstameets + The Chickery

Another DCeatstameet went down, this time at The Chickery, in Dupont, which you should totally go check out because #realtastychicken is more than just a hashtag over there.

To be continued...
